Sie verfassten ein politisches Manifest: die »Göttinger Erklärung«, mit der sie zu Ikonen der friedensbewegten Anti-Atomwaffenproteste avancierten.Robert Lorenz geht den politischen Wesenszügen der erklärten Nichtpolitiker nach, untersucht ihre Motive und Wirkung. Er fragt, weshalb ehrwürdige Nobelpreisträger wie Max Born, Otto Hahn und Werner Heisenberg öffentlich die Bundesregierung angriffen, und beleuchtet, wie der Physiker Carl Friedrich v. Weizsäcker zum prominenten »Friedensphilosophen« aufsteigen konnte. |
