The Standardized UNECE Vocabulary for Radio-Connections was prepared with a view to improving the safety of navigation and the piloting of vessels, and standardizing the vocabulary used for communications in inland navigation. It is not intended to replace, or conflict with, the European Code for Inland Waterways (CEVNI) or special local regulations.
