<br/><br/>  	<br/>The simplest one-dimensional model of the protein molecule is used to show that the wave functions of donor and acceptor molecules attached to it become different from zero over the entire protein molecule. As a result, the protein molecule facilitates the electron transport between the donor and acceptor molecules attached to it.
