Subject(s): Online resources: Summary: Advances in Integrative Omics and Applied Biotechnology (AIOAB) is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal that publishes approaches to tackling system biology issues, combining various omics disciplines with the perspective of applying such technologies in agriculture, industry, and biomedicine. We are in a post-omics era and there is a strong need to combine efforts in omics technologies. Multiple analysis is required to give an integrative picture of biological phenomena in order to successfully meet challenges in high-throughput screening, predictions and drug discovery. Ongoing dialogue between the fields of omics and biotechnology is of crucial importance for future research and development of their applications in biology. Advances in Integrative Omics and Applied Biotechnology provides a platform for work that focuses on this combination of omics techniques to further the understanding and development of biological systems and their subsequent application. Topics considered include, but are not limited to, genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, cellomics, kinomics, integrative omics, and synthetic and systems biology. Advances in Integrative Omics and Applied Biotechnology is committed to rapid and stringent scientific peer-review and the timely publication of accepted manuscripts.
