| 520 | _aDer zweite Band der Wiener Juristenmatrikel umfasst die Jahre 1442 bis 1557 und fällt damit in eine Periode großer Umbrüche. Neben dem Einfluss des Humanismus auf die Gelehrtenwelt nördlich der Alpen lässt sich anhand der Matrikel auch die Rezeption des Römischen Rechts in Wien sowie die konfessionellen Veränderungen nachzeichnen. Neben der kritischen Edition, welche durch zwei Register erschlossen ist, finden sich eine statistische und prosopographische Auswertung, eine paläographische Analyse der Schriften sowie Aspekte zur sozialen Herkunft der Universitätsbesucher, zur studentischen Mobilität und zu den beruflichen Möglichkeiten der Juristen in diesem Band. Die Arbeit stellt damit einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Universitäts- und Gelehrtenforschung sowie zur Rechtsgeschichte um 1500 dar. | ||
